     Keith F. Carrigan, 67, of Murfreesboro, TN, formerly of Peoria, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at his home in Murfreesboro.
     Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Peoria, with the Franciscan Friars as celebrants. Interment will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria, with full military honors.
     Keith was born on May 14, 1944 in Peoria, a son of Frank and Mary Ann (Mennel) Carrigan. They preceded him in death, along with one brother, Stanley G. Carrigan, and one sister, Mary Colleen Vance. He married Jane Weger of Chicago on April 12, 1969. She survives.
     He is also survived by his daughters, Rachel (Nathan) Singer of Wartrace, TN and Margaret Carrigan of Nashville, TN; brother, Kevin Carrigan of Peoria; sister, Kathe Carrigan of Peoria; and granddaughter, Kylie Singer at home.
     Keith served as a Green Beret in the U.S. Army. While living in Peoria, he was last employed with the Marketing Department at the Peoria Journal Star.
     He was an active member of the community, participating in the Young Republicans in his early adulthood and served as a member of the Peoria County Board and Arbor District Neighborhood Association. He relocated to Murfreesboro in 2009 to be closer to his children.
     Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue, in Peoria.
